Scott Parker City Councilman Place 5

The Parker family has called Fair Oaks Ranch home for over 20 years and our children proudly attended BISD from Kindergarten through High School Graduations. We live in the Northern part of the Ranch fondly referred to as "The Back Forty" and my interest is in preserving the small town feel for the entire city. I enjoy riding my bicycle throughout the city and seeing residents riding their horses, playing golf, spending time at one of our parks and enjoying ice cream or coffee at our shops on the Parkway.
I have seen firsthand the delicate balance between maintaining the City's charm and accommodating the inevitable pressures of growth. As incumbent and candidate for City Council, I stand firm in my belief that growth can be managed utilizing tool such as our Unified Development Code (UDC), Planning and Zoning Commission and other ordinances that will enable controlled and managed growth while maintaining the Hill Country feel to The Ranch.
I am a staunch supporter of the safety and security of our residents and fully support out Police and Emergency Services. This year, we were named the 16th Safest City in Texas.
